The method is very well described and substantively prepared. The project of the method is well integrated and includes a clear and concise description.

The developed method was evaluated following the definitions of AOAC SMPR 2018.010 with respect to values of LOD and LOQ, Linearity, Repeatability, Reproducibility, Recovery. Analytical data was collected for all compounds, and required / suitable matrices (food matrices including milk-based, meat-based, and fish-based ingredients, and their products) listed in AOAC SMPR 2018.010.

My final recommendation, after reading the whole, very well prepared and described method, can be only one: YES. In my opinion, the AOAC 'VD4S154' Method can be recommend for adoption as a First Action and published in the Official Methods of Analysis of AOAC INTERNATIONAL.
