Manual calculation:

Calculate the amount of individual amino acids present in the sample in mg/100 g.

The ratio of peak area of analyte to the internal standard is generally called response. The area ratio of each sample should be used to calculate the amount of analyte in the sample.

Amino acid (mg/100g) = (peak area ratio of sample) x conc of std (mg / 100 mL) x dilution (40) (peak area ratio of standard) x sample weight (g)
