Sesame ELISA method

No identified sesame ELISA method. Will be useful when sesame is the only allergen of concern, xMAP FADA exceeds the need. As an additional analytical method. Goal is to select two ELISA kits to obtain the required concurrence similar to other allergen ELISA methods used by FDA. Three commercially available sesame ELISA kits were evaluated. A Level II validation was performed as per the Guidelines for the Validation of Chemical Methods for the FDA Foods Program, 3 rd Edition Office of Foods and Veterinary Medicine, FDA. Level II - Intended use for ROUTINE regulatory testing, emergency needs, minor method modifications, analyte and matrix extensions of screening methods.
