Brooke Roman, M.S. Director of Validation Research & Development NEOGEN Corporation

Brooke Roman is a food safety and human nutrition scientist experienced in academic research, teaching, and industry research. She currently serves as the Director of Validation for NEOGEN corporation where her global team focuses on

internal and external validations of food safety diagnostic products. Brooke has spearheaded external validations through AOAC, FGIS, Health Canada and others. Her previous role was as a research scientist, developing natural toxin and food allergen immunodiagnostic rapid assays. Brooke also did research at Michigan State University in the Department of Food Safety and Human Nutrition, focusing on calorie restriction in aging rodent populations. She has teaching experience in biology and food laboratories. Brooke has 12 peer reviewed publications and a handful of professional presentations.
