The chromatographic method is capable of determining various folate vitamers including folic acid, 5-methyl-THF and 5-formyl-THF in infant, adult, and pediatric nutritional powders, ready-to-feed liquids, and liquid concentrates and was developed to meet the Stakeholder Panel on Infant Formula and Adult Nutritionals (SPIFAN) method performance requirements.
