I would like to recommend Dr. Paula Brown for a position on the AOAC INTERNATIONAL Official Methods Board. I have worked with Paula for almost 20 years on methods development, validation, and collaboration. She was one of the most significant contributors to the AOAC Presidential Task Force on Dietary Supplements, and the more recent AOAC Stakeholder Panel on Dietary Supplements; both of which I chaired. Paula is an extremely good chemist and method developer, she has validated and published many methods in the AOAC system, and she has led multiple collaborative study trials for AOAC. She is very knowledgeable about method validation, and the AOAC processes. While working in a team environment, Paula has always been strong in both verbal and written communication.
