I am writing this letter to recommend Dr. Holly E. Johnson for the AOAC Official Methods Board.

My name is Elan Sudberg and I am the CEO of Alkemist Labs, a small contract analytical laboratory serving the dietary supplement industry and I personally I hired Dr. Johnson to be our laboratory director. She held the role for 4 years and while on the team did amazing things for our little lab. Dr. Johnson is easily one of the smartest people I have had the honor of working with in this industry. She is also one of the easiest people to work with. In my experience, those two important qualities are rarely exhibited by the same person at the same time. In addition to her complimentary combination of IQ and EQ she has shown the ability to hold a rowdy meeting of peers together, stick to the agenda and quell any side conversations professionally and respectfully. She also has no issue speaking in front of large groups. Again, qualities not usually found together.

While in the role of laboratory director, Dr. Johnson showed her skills in critical evaluation, analytical chemistry & methods validation on a daily basis and mentored the team up as a good leader should do.

We made great progress in our corporate goals, both revenue as well as industry credit with her by my side.

I strongly suggest she is considered for a seat on the AOAC Official Methods Board and would be happy to answer any questions you might have.
