Caroline Thum, Ph.D., Scientist AgResearch MFGM Working Group Chair

Dr. Caroline Thum is a scientist at AgResearch, Gut models team, located at Te Ohu building at Massey University, Palmerston North, New Zealand. Dr. Thum had spent the last 12 years investigating the effects of milk

components on gut development, microbial composition and health. Some of this work was done at Tokyo University, Maastricht University, and the University of California, Davis. Lately, Dr. Thum has been working across different areas from milk antimicrobial properties and complex emulsions to plant and insect digestion.
