METHODS OVERVIEW AND FIGURES OF MERIT

 GB5009.284-2021: Method I, II, and III included in document.  Method I: LC-UV Method.  Sample is acidified, extracted with acetonitrile then concentrated with N2 gas and reconstituted in aqueous methanol and filtered through a 0.45 µm filter.  A C18 column is used for chromatographic separation with 0.5% formic acid and acetonitrile as mobile phase A and B, respectively. The detector wavelength is set at 279 nm.  Method LOQ is 2 mg/kg. Precision of duplicates is reported as ≤ 15%.  Method II: LC-MS/MS Method.  Sample is acidified, extracted with acetonitrile, purified with an SPE column, concentrated with N2 gas and reconstituted in aqueous methanol and filtered through a 0.22 µm filter.  A C18 column is used for chromatographic separation with 0.5% formic acid and acetonitrile as mobile phase A and B, respectively.  Sample is ionized in ESI + with 2 MRM for each analyte and deuterated internal standard. Blank values are subtracted from sample results.  Method LOQ is 0.05 mg/kg. Precision of duplicates is reported as ≤ 15%.
