read again at the end of each day, and the differences of each standard (before and after samples) for both electrodes were calculated. The values differed by < 1.2 mV over all 6 days of testing. Prior to analysis of standard curves and samples the performance of the electrode was confirmed by measuring 50 mL of the 1 ppm intermediate standard and recording the reading. 50 mL of lab water was then added, and a second reading was taken. The difference in these two readings was 18 mV ± 1 mV, indicating the electrode was performing properly. This test was repeated daily. All samples and standards were measured at room temperature. Results are reported as “µg F- /100 g reconstituted sample”. Method details are found in Appendix A . All Certificates of Analysis (COA) for materials used in this SLV are found in Appendix B Samples The SPIFAN sample test kit consisted of five powder samples. Two kits were received and used for analysis. Two of the samples were labeled with slight differences in the two kits.
