The range for lycopene (2-120 μg/100 mL) correlates to approximately 0.4-23 μg/100 g as fed for samples prepared for the lowest sample concentrations. With dilutions specified in the method, the range can be extended to approximately 800 μg/100 as fed. This extends beyond the range of 1-50 μg/100 g for lycopene specified in SMPR 2017.008.
