Workshop 6 December 2018, Wageningen, The Netherlands

Background: So far none of the methods presented to the SPIFAN ERP for GOS analysis have been accepted. The workshop was organized as a brainstorming session to find possible ways forward.

Aim: Identify the most promising approaches for the determination of GOS in infant formula & adult nutritionals.

Method: (1) Everyone we were aware of with an interest in GOS analysis was invited to participate. (2) Everyone that accepted was asked to bring a poster with their ideas for GOS determination.

(3) Posters were presented and discussed. (4) All participants voted for their top 3 ideas. (5) Split in to teams to discuss and refine top 3 ideas
