Yannis Vrasidas, Ph.D., Eurofins Food, Feed & Water Testing Netherlands Human Milk Oligosaccharides (HMO)

Ioannis (Yannis) Vrasidas obtained his PhD in Medicinal and Carbohydrate Chemistry from Utrecht University and worked afterwards as postdoctorate researcher, at Pasteur Institute in Paris (development of carbohydrate based vaccines). He continued his carreer as research scientist at Glycom A/S in Copenhagen (synthesis of complex carbohydrates and human milk

oligosaccharides). In 2013, he joined Eurofins Food Testing Netherlands as Scientific Support Manager and carbohydrates specialist. Yannis is the author of several scientific papers and patents. He often presented his work, topics of general (scientific) interest as well provided trainings at national or international conferences and meetings.
