An MLT study of the AOAC First Action method 2016.15, Quantification of Whey Protein Content in Infant Formulas by Sodium Dodecyl Sulfate-Capillary Gel Electrophoresis (SDS-CGE), was undertaken. The method was implemented in 19 laboratories using seven different instrument models, confirming its applicability to a broad range of CE instruments on the market. The method was demonstrated to provide accurate and precise data for the quantitative determination of whey protein content in powdered milk-based formula for infants and young children, and complies with the standard method performance requirements outlined in AOAC SMPR 2012.002 [4] . The method is simple and efficient, provides good performance and ease of implementation for routine use in a QC environment, and is fit-for-purpose for the quantification of whey protein content in powdered milk based formula for infants and young children. Acknowledgments The Study Directors would like to thank the following laboratories and individuals for their contribution in this study: Xiaojing Ding (Beijing CDC, China); Xuefei Leng (Shanghai CDC, China); Li Li (NIFDC, China); Tie Gao (Shanghai ABsciex, China); Kai Huang (Wyeth Nutrition, China); Jie Zhou (Agilent Technologies, China); Yue Yu (Beijing University, China); Kangle Zheng (CNIM, China); Yunxia Wang (YiLi, China); Wei Chen (Mengniu, China); Youyou Yang and Xiaomei Shi (COFCO, China); Jiazheng Pan (Mead Johnson, China); Shaoqing Wang (Beijing CFSA, China); Steve Questa (ABsciex, USA), Rosemarie Jenni (Nestlé Research Centre, Switzerland), Mei- an Sung (DeltaDot, UK), Hao Zhang (Hanon Company, China); Xin Wang (Huayang Limin Instrument, China) , Kristy Arendse (Danone, Netherland) The assistance of Ms. Chunmei Zhang and her colleagues (Wyeth Nutrition, China) for arranging the packaging and shipping of the MLT samples to the participating laboratories; Mr. Jianhua Wu (Beckman/Sciex) for collaborating labs with Beckman instrument; Dr. Xiaojing Ding (Beijing CDC) for helping connection with the labs using different brand instrument are greatly appreciated.
