Linearity:

The Linearity has been evaluated twice for the compound with a 9 points calibra- tion. For the data and the result of the regression analysis performed in excel, see ap- pendix 1. Choline: For choline it’s also seen that there is a very significant correlation between con- centration ratio and area ratio. R 2 =0,9998. The slope of the line is 1,613 and the intercept with the y-axis is -0,00402. The calculated 95% confidence interval for the intercept includes 0. And the calibration curve therefore goes through 0. For residuals plotted against the concentration ratio, it is seen that the points are randomly distributed around the x-axis (concentration ratio), indicating that the calibration curve for the concentrations included are linear. For the evaluation of the precision two types of samples have been used:  A milk powder (nutritional formula).  A pet food. (dry pet food) The repeatability (S r ) and reproducibility (S R ) have been evaluated with a variance analysis model. The data consists of 16 days of double replicate measurements. The dataset has been evaluated with ANAVA single factor (Excel 2010), see ap- pendix 2.
