The GENE ‑ UP ® Listeria spp. 2 (LIS 2) method with an enrichment step at +37°C, has been certified NF VALIDATION as an alternative analysis method for the detection of Listeria in food and environmental samples. This validation has been obtained by comparison with the reference method described in the international standard EN ISO 6579 according to the standard EN ISO 16140 ‑ 2. 10,11,12 The BIO-XX/XX- XX/XX certificate can be obtained from our Technical Assistance Dept. or from AFNOR Certification. The date of end of validity for the NF VALIDATION certification is indicated on the certificate.

The following matrices were included in the AOAC validation: Fresh spinach (25 g), Fresh lettuce (25 g), Deli ham (25 g), Cooked shrimp (25 g), Smoked salmon (25 g), Beef hot dogs (25 g), Vanilla ice cream (25 g), Deli turkey (25 g), Cooked chicken nuggets (25 g), Mexican soft cheese (25 g), Smoked salmon (125 g), and Stainless steel.
