Recommendations
It is recommended that the GENE-UP ® Listeria monocytogenes 2 (LMO 2) method be adopted as Official First Action status for the detection of Listeria monocytogenes in a variety of foods and environmental surfaces: 25 g test portions of deli ham, deli roast beef, deli turkey, turkey hot dogs, fresh spinach, mixed bagged salad, cooked shrimp, smoked salmon, vanilla ice cream, Mexican soft cheese, pork rillettes, raw milk, salmon offcuts, mixed precooked vegetables, mixed salad and process water; 100 g test portions of whole liquid egg; 125 g test portions of deli ham & Mexican soft cheese; 375 g test portions of whey powder; stainless steel surface sponges
