Agro FOOD Industry Hi Tech 32, 1:58-60 I have extensive experience working with International Medical Corps as a Field Monitor. I am adept at solving field issues practiced at documenting data and able to handle the physical demands of a field assistant. In my current role I consistently record data accurately enabling other departments to complete their roles on time. Field monitoring and verification visits conducted to ensure that all activities are implemented according to the project implementation plans. Also, I worked as Research Assistance at IBB University. So, this position gave me a strong background in the Nutrition and Food Science with special expertise in chemical and Microbial laboratory for Water and Food tests I am currently developing targeted and non-targeted analytical methods for food authenticity/adulteration testing in pomegranate juice, grape juice and ayurvedic herbal products using LC-HRMS. Chair of the FAM Non-Targeted Testing Working Group. Past chair AOAC OMB. Experienced in testing both targeted and non-targeted methods for foods notably vitamins, carbohydrates and contaminants. I received my bachelor's degree in food quality and safety in 2015. Then I worked in pesticide residues in fruit and vegetable inspection lab for two years, which allowed me to learn and have hands-on experience with standard methods of pesticide detection using chromatography and Mass spectrometry. I also participated in method development and validation for pesticide residue limit standards of new agricultural produce. I started graduate school in 2018. My research focuses on NMR-based metabolomics for food quality and authenticity evaluation. I have used various 1D and 2D NMR methods for compositional profiling and quantification of pomegranate juice, olive oil, and avocado oil samples. I applied NMR with supervised (OPLS-DA, random forest, XGBoost) or unsupervised (PCA) models for authentication of PJ, avocado oil, and botanical origin discrimination of PJ and olive oil. I also conducted comparison studies for quantification agreement evaluation between NMR with a traditional or standard analytical instrument like GC. I am experienced with experimental designing, univariate data analysis, and multivariate data analysis using multiple platforms (SIMCA, R, matlab, SPSS, Jmp).
