1. The SMPR is designed to evaluate Next Generation Sequencing methods (NGS) developed to assess potential economic adulteration in defined commodities. 2. The SMPR is purposely designed with general descriptions to be applicable to a broad range of innovative sequencing platforms and concepts . 3. QUALITATIVE analytical results of identified species on defined samples will be used to perform the evaluations of the method’s performances by the Expert Review Panel.
