Monique Steegmans (Tiense Suikerraffinaderij): 1) Proposes recovery of 90-110% only for products containing ≥ 1g/100g 2) Proposes to change analytical range to 0.1 – 15 g/100g Remarks: Analytical Range: • After discussion with Monique it was clarified that she was thinking about non-reconstituted products. Once we consider reconstituted products the existing analytical range in the SMPR is OK. Recovery • If we accept a broader range of recoveries the method may not be able to meet the regulatory tolerances in some countries. • These are TARGETS – we may not be able to hit them. Should we lower them to encourage submission of methods ?
