EXPERT REVIEW PANEL PROPOSAL a.

Upcoming ERP Meetings or Teleconferences McKenzie shared the June 26, 2018 meeting date for the ERP for Microbiology Methods for Food  and Environmental Surfaces and how the meeting served as a pilot for holding virtual ERP meetings  as an option for experienced ERPs with experienced ERP members for First Action OMA candidate  method reviews, authorized by Schmidt.  ACTION ITEM:   McKenzie and Crowley to draft a proposal that includes the chair’s response and  the comfort level on the voting.    Proposal for ERP for SPDS Echinacea Methods  MOTION:   For OMB to approve the ERP as proposed.    Mastovska moved and Verdon seconded.  Consensus: Unanimous.  ACTION ITEM:   Staff to forward approved ERP members to AOAC President for appointment.  Proposal for ERP for SPDS Ginseng Methods  MOTION:   For OMB to approve the ERP as proposed.    Boison moved and Campos Giménez seconded.  Consensus: Unanimous.  ACTION ITEM:   Staff to forward approved ERP members to AOAC President for appointment.  Proposal for ERP for SPDS Kavalactones Methods  MOTION:   For OMB to approve the ERP as proposed.    Boison moved and Sudberg seconded.  Consensus: Unanimous.  ACTION ITEM:   Staff to forward approved ERP members to AOAC President for appointment.  Proposal for ERP for SPDS SAMe Methods  MOTION:   For OMB to approve the ERP as proposed.    Mastovska moved and Phillips seconded.  Consensus: Unanimous.  ACTION ITEM:   Staff to forward approved ERP members to AOAC President for appointment.  Methods  MOTION:   For OMB to approve the ERP as proposed.    Phillips moved and Salfinger seconded.  Consensus: Unanimous.  ACTION ITEM:   Staff to forward approved ERP members to AOAC President for appointment.  Proposal for ERP for SPSFAM Sugar – Fructan Methods  MOTION:   For OMB to approve the ERP proposal as modified.    Mastovska moved and Campos Giménez seconded.  Consensus: Unanimous.  ACTION ITEM:   Staff to forward approved ERP members to AOAC President for appointment.  OFFICIAL METHODS BOARD COMMITTEES AND WORKING GROUPS  a. OMB Working Group on Codex STAN 234  McKenzie explained that as the rubric for the review of methods in Codex STAN 234 is finalized that  OMB needs to review and approve the rubric prior to distribution.   ACTION ITEM:   Staff to forward rubric to OMB with ballot in the next week.  b. c. d. e. f.
