Statement of Expertise  Martine van Gool works as Analytical Researcher at FrieslandCampina, in the innovation centre in  Wageningen, The Netherlands. In this role she provides analytical expertise for R&D projects and to  support business decisions. She develops analytical methods for the analysis of (complex)  carbohydrates and proteins (including hydrolysates) that are present in diverse food matrices. Since  2015 she serves the AOAC‐SPIFAN nutrients ERP for GOS and FOS, the SPIFAN whey protein ERP and  since 2018 the SPSFAM sugar and fructan ERP.    Martine completed her PhD study in Food Chemistry (Wageningen University, The Netherlands) in  2012 and has experience with different analytical techniques such as UHPLC‐MS, MALDI‐TOF MS,  and various types of HPLC.
