 Development and validation of an UPLC MS/MS method of analysis for Erythromycin residues in aquacultured products.  The project objective is to produce and analytical method of analysis for Erythromycin residues in aquacultured fish products such as salmon, shrimp and tilapia. The method will be used to monitor domestic and imported fish products for these residues to ensure a safe food supply for Canadian consumers.

Senior Research Co-ordinator- Chemistry  Responsible for research projects involving the development, validation and implementation of new methodology for residues and marine toxins of concern or interest. Required to prepare and submit research funding requests, and ensure that research goals and objectives were met in a timely manner. Responsible the preparation of technical reports, scientific reports for publication in scientific journals  Responsible for reviewing, revising and coordination of research proposal by the Dartmouth Laboratory. Including tracking objectives and milestones, and advising senior managers potential pressures preventing successful completion of approved projects.  Responsible for the preparation of reports and providing advice to senior Program and Operations officials.  Required to prepare procurement requests for capital equipment purchases and evaluate bid proposals Manager – Dr. William Lanterman Analytical Specialist- Unit Supervisor Drug Residue and Marine Toxin Team  Responsible for supervising a team of chemists and technical lab staff responsible for the analysis of veterinary drug residues and marine toxins in Fish and fish products.
