Sample Homogeneity

Homogeneity of nucleotides dispersed in the samples was assessed by replicate analyses (n = 5) of

samples from separate bags. Statistical analysis of results was on the basis of paired t-test to establish if

there was any difference between results obtained from different bags. No bias was found between any

bags for any of the nucleotides and the precision obtained is what would be expected for the concentration

levels in these products; Tables 1–12. On this basis, the samples were deemed fit for use in the

collaborative study.
