To compensate the signal enhancement of Se82  Methanol (Source of  Carbon) is being added to Linearity Standards and Digested Sample.   Methanol could interfere for Cr52  analysis (Ar40 + C12 = ArC52+ ).    To achieve better sensitivity Se82   can be analyzed as SeO98  (Se82  +  O16) in DRC mode using Oxygen as Reaction Gas.
