Application Process (cont.)*

Points to Consider: • Do we have the experts (on the OMB) needed for a thorough review? • What is the impact (of the proposed modification) on Stakeholders ? • What is the current status of the methods (First Action, Final Action, how long?) • Should a new method number be considered? • What type of modification is being proposed? For example, does the modification:

o Increase the cost of testing? o Require new equipment?

o Require new chemicals? o Change the final result? o Etc. • Is the quality of science maintained? • Is the supporting data sufficient? Is a SLV or collaborative study needed • Are there any First to Final Action requirements?
