Alternative Confirmation for GENE ‐ UP SLM2  Following incubation, directly streak primary enrichment onto CHROMID Salmonella and ASAP.  Incubate at 35 ± 1 °C for 21 ‐ 27 hours.  Confirm typical colonies with approved serological and biochemical kits

Traditional Confirmation Procedure for both SLM2 andMLG  From the primary enrichment, transfer 0.1 mL to 10 mL of RVS and 0.5 mL to 10 mL of TT Hajna.  Streak secondary selective enrichments to DMLIA and BGS agar plates. Incubate at 35 ± 2°C for 18 ‐ 24 h.  Stab/Streak to TSI/LIA  Confirm via serological and biochemical methods
