Were all spike recovery samples taken from the same spiked product? Were multiple portions of the product spiked and each spiked product analyzed? Were all spike recovery samples prepared on multiple days? Were spike recoveries calculated from theoretical additions? Or was spiking solution analyzed and the results used to calculate spike recoveries? What form of the nutrient was spiked into the product?
