Method should  – Quantitatively de‐esterify all analyte forms – Separate and accurately quantify relevant free analytes • Lutein • Zeaxanthin • β‐Cryptoxanthin • 3’ Epilutein (principal lutein metabolite) ‐ – Determine the above in • Raw materials used in dietary supplement formulations • Finished products?
