In addition to the responsibilities of the Client Services Manager I, Mr. Zielinski works with industry associations such as AOAC International to develop method standards for the dietary supplement and food industry. He presents information regarding regulatory needs and Covance offerings to customers and at industry events. Mr. Zielinski works with internal departments to develop new service offerings and develop processes to implement these offerings. He also acts as a mentor to to junior client manager staff. 06/2013 – 03/2015: Client Services Manager I, Nutritional Chemistry and Food Safety Mr. Zielinski manages all aspects of quote, proposal, and RFI development for assigned opportunities; adhering to agreed-upon BU-specific and enterprise-wide proposal and pricing processes. He manages opportunities, establishes clear timelines to meet client requirements, anticipates obstacles and provides solutions. He reviews RFP/quote requests to ensure full understanding of client requirements. Mr. Zielinski works with Operations, Finance, Account Executives and others to compile proposal response. He ensures timely delivery of assigned proposals to clients. He performs data entry into SDFC, CMS and other databases as appropriate. He manages client-facing and senior management-facing activities surrounding assigned opportunities. Mr. Zielinski identifies and resolves issues around client inquiry requirements and Covance capabilities. He maintains appropriate knowledge of the technical and regulatory environments. He also creates and implements new processes as standards to improve business. 08/2012 – 06/2013: Research Associate II, Nutritional Chemistry and Food Safety Mr. Zielinski performed research and method development for the analysis of carbohydrates. He assisted clients with interpretation of results and sample specific method troubleshooting. He helped identify scientific and commercial opportunities for the department and works with the functional leaders to implement new programs. Mr. Zielinski collaborated with the industry leaders in carbohydrate testing and was the primary Covance contact for AACC. He authored and co-authored
