2. Accuracy – Accuracy was determined by testing the spiked samples described in Table 2-2. Mean recoveries ranged from 96- 102%. The results are summarized in Table 2-5.

3. Precision – Precision was assessed by both the analysis of 20 independent duplicate sample preparations (using 6-7 analysts and 4-5 instruments in 2-3 labs) as well as the overall assessment of additional analyses of the AN internal control (using 7 analysts and 9 instruments in 3 labs). a. Precision was additionally assessed for 6 SPIFAN matrices by four days of duplicate testing (Table 2-9). Data is still being collected at this time.
