The full data sets are located in Tables AI-1-1 to AI-1-9 in Appendix I . The CRM data show the mean results from each lab and the overall average results for all analytes with reference values are within the established ranges with two exceptions on the BCR-644 CRM. The BCR-644 lactose monohydrate individual lab mean yielded % of certified values within the SMPR requirements for recovery (lowest % of certified value is 97.2% at a mean value of 15.4% lactose monohydrate), the overall mean is within the established limits, and the same analyte for NIST 1849a does not show a similar trend. Therefore the lactose monohydrate result for BCR-644 is considered acceptable. Sucrose also had one lab with a mean value outside the established range for the BCR-644 CRM. As with the lactose monohydrate for this CRM the lab mean as a % of the certified value for sucrose was well within the SMPR requirements (97.1%), this analyte did not show the same trend with other matrices, and the overall mean is within the established range. Overall the CRM results indicate that the method demonstrates acceptable performance in these matrices. 7
