Deficiency
A deficiency of vitamin B 6 alone is relatively uncommon and often occurs in association with other vitamins of the B complex. Marginal B 6 deficiency is associated with weakness sleeplessness nervous , , disorders, appetite and growth depression, and dermatologic disorders.

in Food
B 6 is widely distributed in foods in both its free and bound forms. Animal sources of B 6 contain no inherent pyridoxine, only Pyridoxal and Pyridoxamine and their bound forms.
