Description of the analyte: • Determination of fluoride in all forms of infant, adult, and/or pediatric  formula (powders, ready‐to‐feed liquids, and liquid concentrates). • Rationale:  Fluoride is present in infant formula naturally, but fortification may be  d i i lt N F C F ma e us ng var ous sa s, e.g. a , a 2 . • Implications:  Candidate methods must recover all forms of fluoride ion.

Specific Performance Claims • Analytical range:   5‐200 µg/100g of reconstituted  product.

• LOQ:  ≤ 5 µg/100g of reconstituted product.
