B 1 Forms and Chemistry  Thiamine hydrochloride is the form used for  fortification in foods requiring water solubility.  Thiamine exists  naturally as free thiamine and  phosphorylated as thiamin monophosphate  (TMP), thiamine diphosphate (aka thiamin  pyrophosphate, TPP), and thiamine  triphosphate (TTP).
