2.20 (3.6, Notes 1 and 2) repeatability condition of measurement repeatability condition

II. condition of measurement , out of a set of conditions that includes the same measurement procedure , same operators, same measuring system , same operating conditions and same location, and replicate measurements on the same or similar objects over a short period of time

III. NOTE 1 A condition of measurement is a repeatability condition only with respect to a specified set of repeatability conditions.

IV. NOTE 2 In chemistry, the term “intra-serial precision condition of measurement” is sometimes used to designate this concept.

Repeatability conditions: Observation conditions where independent test/measurement results are obtained with the same method on identical test/measurement items in the same test or measuring facility by the same operator using the same equipment within short intervals of time. Note: Repeatability conditions include: the same measurement procedure or test procedure; the same operator; the same measuring or test equipment used under the same conditions; the same location and repetition over a short period of time.
