Salmonella method and the relevant reference methods for all matrixes indicated that there was no 

significant difference at the 5% level between the numbers of positive results by the two methods using 

both manual and automated sample preparation methods where appropriate.  

The POD analysis between Solus One  Salmonella presumptive and confirmed results for all matrixes 

indicated that there was no significant difference at the 5% level using both manual and automated 

sample preparation methods where appropriate. A summary of POD analyses is presented in Tables 3 

and 4.
