Clarification on Number of Calibration Points

Recommendations X Require multiple internal calibration points for method identified as “dispute resolution” in the Intended Use section of the Standard Method Performance Requirements (SMPR). X No minimum requirement for method identified as “surveillance and routine monitoring” methods Intended Use section of the SMPR. X Require a statement regarding number of internal calibration points in the system suitability statement in all future SMPRs. X Confer with AOCS, AACC, ISO (TC34 and CCMAS), IDF, and others.
