Single Lab Validation Report for GOS in Infant Formula and Adult Nutritionals

4 Conclusions The method used for this SLV is capable of determining GOS in infant formula and adult nutritionals, without interference of other oligosaccharides. The method precision in a single lab study is a considerable improvement compared to AOAC2001.02 and is sufficient to meet the SMPR proposed by the working group. However, the accuracy of the method assessed by spike-recovery experiments did not meet the criteria of the SMPR.
